OMT Digital Display Technology Kick Start Its LCoS Optical Engine Mass Production

Global leading LCoS optical engine manufacturer, OMT Digital Display Technology (Shenzhen) Limited, announced that its own IP protected LCoS optical engine production line is in the final testing stage and the mass production shall be ready to start by end of this year.
In Society of Information Display 2007 (SID2007), OMT presented one of its own designs, a mini LCoS optical engine, which is in compact size and outstanding performance. According to the introduction form OMT, this mini optical engine is using LCoS display panel, which has 800*600 resolution, can be widely used in home entertainment and business presentation, yet the market price will be lower than USD$300 each. By now, there are a few European top rank consumer electronics manufacturers are doing the
second development on OMT mini LCoS optical engine in their new generation home entertainment product.
