Government awarded a grant to O-Net for technology innovation and achievements

Shenzhen Municipal Government recently awarded O-Net with the grant of "2012 Strategic Development on New Technology Research, Development and Innovation". The grant, amounted at RMB 1.2 million, is to recognize O-Net's contributions to "The core technology research in high capacity ultra long haul transmission and intelligent optical networking".

O-Net, as a national high and new technology enterprise, is well known to be innovative in new technologies and its brand development. From January to September 2012, O-Net has received government grants in total of RMB 3.8 million.

he projects carried out with the grants include the followings: core devices used for 40G systems, enterprise reorganization, research in high capacity ultra long haul transmission and intelligent optical networking.

Innovation is one of the O-Net's competitive edges for future success. O-Net will continue to focus in research and development as well as the innovations for launching new products and new technology.
